Hello. This is my Art Blog. I hope you enjoy it. I welcome you to comment on my artwork and give any constructive criticism you can offer. I am still a student in the arts and am far from refined in my craft. My primary medium is pencil but I have also experimented in Pen and Ink, Charcoal, Acrylic Paint, and Scratch Art.

April, I am sorry that I did not know before yesterday that you had a special webpage for art. I looked it over last night, and of course there is a lot of it I had seen before, but there was also a lot I had not seen, too. I guess the advantage of a Blog is to get comments, and I don't know how many comments you get, but I bet they will mostly be positive. I think you have some really nice work, and I especially like the Scratch Art. I don't even know how it works, but I like it.
Thanks Dad. With scratch art you start with a black piece of board. Its like tag board but under the black surface is a layer of white that can be scratched away with a tool. Its basically the opposite of drawing because with drawing you are puttin on black and shading and with scratch are you are taking away the black to reveal white. You can't shade scratch are like you can with a pencil so instead you have to create the illusion of shading. Its very fun and quite a challenge.
Thanks for the explanation April. Frank, besides Rachel and Donelle, she has done one of Alissa, Jeana's daughter, so we have a picture of the three little grand-daughters holding their three portraits done by April that she gave them this past Christmas.
I'll give you $200.00 for that Rock Coffin original
